About Us

The restaurant was officially opened on August 14, 2008. We all wanted to provide a restaurant that served great food, starting with high quality products, with great service all at reasonable pricing. The current menu was created in January 2009 and all the revisions were from our guest’s comments. Featuring a higher selection of bar beverages than most others, we are dedicated to serving quality products throughout the entire dining experience. We still continue to grow and modify our operation according to the comments of those that have dined here. Whenever a change is made we will always keep our main goal in mind, great food, great service and reasonable prices. Bud Foster's Restaurant is the first restaurant in the Blacksburg area to go to non-smoking!

Operator-Robert Hodges is the husband to Dana, a nurse at New River Medical Center, and father of 4 wonderful daughters.   With over 20 years of restaurant experience in the New River and Roanoke Valley Robert has worked in almost every type of restaurant.   He wanted to create a restaurant that served quality food, offered great attentive service and did not want anyone to have to break the bank to dine out.  

Kitchen Manager-Steve Callahan, a Blacksburg resident since 1991, has worked in the New River Valley for 15 years developing an uncanny ability to make everything taste good.   Leading an experienced and talented kitchen staff, Steve and his crew strive to provide the best food for the best price in the New River Valley.
